The teaching in this school begins from the 1917. With the decision no.06-11777/1 on 20.09.1945, approved from the popular council in Tetovo, the school was founded as a primary school. In 1962, the primary school ‘Liria’ of Brodec gets attached to the school and in 1970 the primary school ‘Besa’ from Veshalle until 30.08.2000.

The name of the school has been changed several times, from 1945 to 1950 ‘Bab Duda’, from 1950 to 1953 ‘Rexhep Voka’, from 1953 to 1993 ‘Jeta e re’, and from 1993 until today ‘Rexhep Voka’. In the school year 2012/2013 the number of the students is 361 in 24 classes. The teaching is held in two shifts and in two school buildings. There are 44 employees, out of which 35 teachers, 3 administrators (principal, pedagogue and secretary) and 6 site staff.
